This is a series of books that revloves around Elena, a teen queen who has just met the new mysterious student, Stefan, who holds dark secrets about his brother, life and how he has been able to live for  the past few centuries. It is a toatlly gripping book that has everything. It keeps you gripped from the start to the end. Smith captures everyone with her thrilling style of writing and her exciting story line. She can always lol you into a false sense of security. A brilliant read!

This has to be one of L. J. Smith's best works. The Nightworld is ruled by vampires, but has werewolves, shapeshifters and even witches. It is invisible to ordinary humans and there are only two laws:

1) never let humans find out that the night world exists.

2) never fall in love with a human...

This is a series of love and loss that will totally the readers.Whether you love vampires or you're just a sucker for a good romance, these are perfect.
